Role
As a shipping clerk, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Handling incoming and outgoing shipments (loading and unloading);
- Processing logistics data in WMS systems such as SAP and Microsoft;
- Checking shipments and ensuring they are correctly and timely prepared for shipment;
- Identifying discrepancies and ensuring proper administrative processing;
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment;
- Working day shifts during the training period (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), followed by rotating shifts between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM.
Job Requirements
- What do you bring to the table as a shipping clerk?
- Proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written;
- Experience in logistics or shipping is a plus;
- Familiarity with WMS systems such as SAP or Microsoft is a plus;
- Flexibility to work in shifts and occasionally on weekends;
- Willingness to work at both the main location in Sittard and the Chemelot site in Geleen.
