Job Description

Can you see yourself performing maintenance and repairs on special equipment, high-pressure and vacuum units, tankers, trucks and heavy engines? Are you eager to learn? Then we have a great challenge for you. As a Mechanic at our client in Sittard you will be working in a dynamic environment. Together with the team you ensure that our equipment is always in perfect technical condition. You will do this in our workshop or on location at the customer. You must be eager to learn. If you are also flexible and quality-oriented, we could make a match. You will join a collegial team with 3 colleagues and you will report to the Head of the garage.

About the job
  • Performing (preventive) maintenance and repairs on high-pressure and vacuum units, tankers and trucks, among others (e.g. on engines, vacuum or high-pressure pumps or a gas washing installation)
  • Perform on-site (emergency) repairs at our customers' facilities
  • Point of contact for operational staff
  • Running breakdown shifts (approximately once every 4 weeks
What we ask
  • Preferably a vehicle mechanic training course
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position. The client has customized scales for more or less experienced Mechanics
  • If you have experience with high-pressure and vacuum units and/or hydraulics, diesel engines and maintenance programs, or experience with electrical then you have an advantage
  • Not an 8 to 5 mentality
  • Do you not meet all the requirements, but do you have experience and would like to learn the specific tasks of maintaining our equipment? Then apply for this position
