To strengthen our client's team, we are looking for a Measuring Room Operator. In this role, you are responsible for operating and monitoring the production processes from the measuring room. You work in continuous service; 5 shifts.

Job description:

As a Measuring Room Operator, you play an essential role within the team of all-round operators. You have in-depth knowledge of process control and monitoring via the systems used in production. From the measuring room, you operate the production installations and keep a close eye on the process. This is crucial to meet the high standards in terms of output, efficiency, quality, safety and the environment.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Process control: Monitor and, if necessary, adjust the production lines in accordance with given guidelines.
• Process monitoring: Anticipate and resolve impending process disruptions.
• Coordination: Ensure smooth cooperation between production installations, storage and utilities.
• Registration: Reporting progress and possible disruptions in the production process.
• Communication: Guaranteeing the (telephone) accessibility of production and good transfer to the next service.
• Management: Supporting and managing operators based on process monitoring.
• Stock management: Calling up raw materials and auxiliary materials.
• Quality assurance: Ensuring compliance with production planning in terms of volume, type and quality.
• Continuous improvement: Performing statistical and trend analyses and formulating improvement proposals.

Projects/special assignments: You work on various projects aimed at continuous improvement, efficiency increase and higher output.

SHE and Security: Every employee is responsible for complying with SHE and Security guidelines and actively reporting incidents and risks.

Your profile:

• Minimum Vapro C (or willing to obtain this within 2 years)
• Experience with operating automated systems in the process industry
• Strong communication skills and able to convey information effectively
• Proactive and stress-resistant
• Experience with trend analyses and statistical methods
